Use - Internal testing and model training only for text-to-speech projects. No external use.
100+ talent will be booked for this project.
Job Details: If you are selected, each booked recording session is self-record from home. Each session lasts about ~150 minutes. If the energy of the speakers is good, the job may repeat and pay at the same rate for each additional session thereafter.
There is no editing required by talent. This is self-record on your computer while connected to another talent via Zoom or Teams.
Audition Details: Auditions are unpaid.
Speak for at least 60 seconds minutes, having a friendly open conversation: Record your side of a conversation (it can be a pretend conversation) with a friend like you're chatting at a coffee shop. The energy should be strong. Some variation in emotion/style (happy, sad, frustration) is a huge plus. There is no set script. Have fun with it. Show your dynamic range. We are not looking for a monologue. We need questions, answers, and appropriate pauses from your side of the conversation just like you're talking to a friend. Include short pauses for when the other person (not included on the file) would answer or ask you a question. You can record right on to your laptop if you don't have a voiceover recording setup.
If you want to audition with a partner, you can submit two voices on a single file but make sure your voices do not overlap and there is space between questions and answers. If you are auditioning with a partner, it's possible that you will each be assigned a different partner for the actual job. If you are auditioning with a partner, both talent names need to be on the file.
You can talk about any topic that friends would discuss (food, travel, TV shows, gossip, etc.). Laughing, and filler words (um, like, ya know, uh huh, are ok). The audio file must be at least 60 minutes long to demonstrate continuous conversational energy.
AUDITION FILE LABELING EXAMPLES
Speaker Audition - your name.mp3 (for single talent audition)
Speaker Audition - talent1 name, talent2 name.mp3 (for tandem talent audition)
Remember: We need engaging, confident, interesting, friendly voices.
