I run a steady stream of short-form content projects and I’m looking for a versatile editor who can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping Instagram Reels. While Reels are the immediate focus, many of my clients also request TikTok and YouTube Shorts, so the ability to adapt ratios, hooks, and pacing across those platforms is essential.
Each project is different: some clips demand a fast-paced, jump-cut style packed with text callouts, others need a smooth, minimalistic polish, and certain briefs lean toward trendy, music-synced transitions. You’ll get clear creative direction for every assignment, but I’ll rely on your eye for timing, sound design, and motion graphics to elevate the final piece.
Flawless written English is a must because every reel includes on-screen captions and concise copy in video descriptions. I may ask for quick headline or CTA suggestions, so grammatical accuracy and a feel for tone matter just as much as editing chops.
When you apply, please share links to past work that best represents your short-form editing skills—no need for a long proposal. If our styles click, we can discuss workflow (Google Drive or Dropbox for assets, preferred NLE, turnaround times) and set up a test edit.
Deliverables for each video:
• Final 1080 × 1920 MP4 (or platform-specific resolution)
• Text-burned and text-free versions
• Source project files and any custom graphics
