PROJECT OVERVIEW

We are developing a next-generation AI Wearable Unit that provides real-time, voice-first AI interaction through a cloud-based LLM engine.

The hardware development is already being handled by another vendor.
We now require a highly skilled software/firmware partner to build the complete software ecosystem, including:

• High-level firmware for AI interaction
• Cloud backend
• AI orchestration layer
• Mobile App (Android mandatory, iOS preferred)
• IoT messaging infrastructure
• OTA integration

This is a senior-level, multi-disciplinary project requiring solid experience in IoT, embedded systems, AI/LLM integration, and scalable cloud architecture.

SCOPE OF WORK

1. Firmware Development (High-Level Logic Only)

Low-level drivers, PCB, bootloader, and hardware abstraction will be done by the hardware vendor.

You will build the high-level firmware that includes:

Audio capture & packetization
Voice activation & voiceprint authentication
Upload audio packets to cloud AI engine
Receive streaming audio responses
Handle Wi-Fi, BLE, LTE switching logic
IoT communication stack (MQTT/WebSocket/HTTPS)
Sensor event detection logic
OTA trigger and update integration
Power & thermal management logic

2. Cloud Backend Development

A complete backend system including:
Device registration & provisioning
IoT messaging layer (MQTT/WebSocket)
Cloud APIs for app & device interaction
Event scheduling (daily/weekly routines)
Alerts & notification routing
Subscription & entitlement system
OTA firmware distribution logic
Logging & diagnostics

3. AI Orchestration Layer

Must include:

Integration with LLM APIs (OpenAI or similar)
Streaming audio output
Context engine for memory management
Sentiment-aware interaction (generalized)
Profile-based personalization
Prompt templates & structured workflows
Fallback logic

4. Mobile App Development (Android and iOS)

Features must include:

BLE pairing & onboarding
Wi-Fi configuration
Device dashboard (battery, connectivity, status)
Notifications for alerts & events
Ability to send messages/commands to device
Manage subscriptions
Trigger OTA updates
View basic logs/history
