Cut and combine together about 10 different audio files into a single one with nice transitions

For my wife's birthday, I have asked friends and family to send me a brief audio recording of a memory they had together. I will receive about 10 audio files (format will be whatsapp or Iphone voice memos). I would like to cut them together in the format of a BBC News Podcast Episode (https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02nq0gn/episodes/downloads) using the intro of the real podcast and then moving to the recordings with short handovers introducing each individual recording.
