Audio tech needed... background noise removal

My name is Cindy. My need to hear my recording is of a personal nature but highly important to me. I have 2 voice recordings, about 5 minutes long, that need background noise removed so I can clearly hear the voice only. I have the recordings in a zip file. I emailed them to a different tech a while ago who promised he would help and made it sound like a quick easy job. Once I sent him the money, I never heard from him again.
This is very important to me and I'm hoping I can get it back in a timely manner.
Also I was wondering if I could email it to you. I'm not able to upload from here for some reason.
