Audio engineer for Advice about fixing clipping when recording audio
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
My setup: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd jen, Audio-Technica AT2020
And I have clipping.
When I say "clipping" I don't mean peaks above 0 dB. I mean some distortion sound.
I have attached the folder.
Here:
Book.wav - original audio
BK1.mp3 - compressed audio
BK2.mp3 - clipping sound only
I guess the problem is in the setup. Audio interface or microphone. But which of this...
I'm blind and can't track frequency analyzers.
