Audio Restoration of 18-Minute Recording
Budget: $50 – $0 CAD
I need an 18-minute audio recording reviewed and restored. Currently, the audio is distorted and clarity is poor.
I was able to detect more understandable audio using Adobe Audition, and playing with Centre Channel extraction, and the levels of the EQ settings, but I have no clue what I'm doing so not sure what to do next to get it as clear as it can be. These were audio recordings recorded by the individual, and then somehow each recording was modified so that a human wouldn't easily detect the contents of the file (contents are long periods of silence, and some human conversations)
Key Requirements:
- Restore audio to enhance speech clarity
- Fix distorted sound
- Provide instructions I can use to repeat the process with hundreds of other similar files
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity)
- Experience with audio restoration techniques
- Ability to work with modified audio files
Work Effort:
I am a private individual tracking down someone who I believe is criminally involved. I have only personal funds to devote to this process, and I'm thinking an hour or so should be enough for someone who knows what they're doing to porovide some helpful info back to me. I was able tyo clean up some things in about that tiime and I have no experience.
Access to original files is a plus but not mandatory.
