Mizo Dialogue Recording Project

I’m gathering a small team of native-level Mizo speakers to help create high-quality two-speaker conversations. Each participant records a total of two hours of natural dialogue in nothing but the Mizo language, seated indoors in a quiet room so background noise is minimal.

What you’ll actually do
• Team up with a friend or family member of your choice. You control the schedule; just make sure you are both in the same quiet space while recording.
• Chat naturally about everyday matters—healthcare, business, public affairs, call-centre scenarios, general small talk—switching topics whenever it feels right so the audio stays varied and authentic.
• Capture the entire session on a clear mobile or desktop recorder (a standard smartphone voice-memo app is perfectly fine as long as the sound is crisp). If you prefer professional gear, even better.
• Deliver two separate WAV or high-quality MP3 files: one for each one-hour segment (or four half-hour files if that is easier to upload). Total speaking time across the files should add up to roughly 120 minutes.

Acceptance check
Recordings must be exclusively in Mizo, without English or other languages creeping in; signal-to-noise ratio should be good enough that automatic transcription software can parse the dialogue; and file names must include both speakers’ initials and the date so we can catalogue them quickly.

Once I’ve verified the audio meets those three criteria—language, clarity, and length—I’ll mark the milestone complete and release payment immediately.
