I’m planning an upbeat birthday party and want the warm, soulful sound of live jazz to set the mood. I have a short list of favorite standards that mean a lot to the guest of honor, but I’d also love for you to add your own crowd-pleasing selections so the set feels spontaneous and lively.

The event is a private indoor celebration, so you’ll need your own sax, microphone, and a compact amplification setup suitable for a medium-sized room. Performance time will be roughly two 45-minute sets with a brief break in between.
