High-End Podcast Mic Setup

I require assistance in setting up an AT4040 condenser microphone via scarlett focusrite 2i2 to my Logic Pro on macbook pro. I'm new to all this and after setting everything up, when i press record it doesn't record, it gives me error messages or the frequency on the track is tiny or inexistent. Can you please help me set up the whole thing to obtain the high quality I should have to record my podcast and youtube videos please?
