Electronic Music Studio Configuration

Job ID: 38248564

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I am seeking an experienced sound engineer to assist with fine tuning the configuration of my home recording studio. The purpose of this project is to configure the studio for the production of electronic music.

Current equipment includes:
-Headphones / monitors
-Scarlett 18i20 Audio Interface
-Mackie mixer
-Sampler
-Logic pro X
-Two synths

Key Responsibilities:
-Ensure the correct routing of all equipment for music production
-Proper configuration of the Focusrite Control software with inputs and outputs (please check online before responding as its difficult to use)
-Refine routings;
1 Stereo out from Logic X to Mackie and back into Logic
2 Mackie mixer to Sampler and back into Mackie mixer
3 x2 synths > midi trigger from Logic. Audio into Logic via Mackie

Main issues to solve:
This is not a set up from scratch job although I think some things can be done better. I have a routing which essentially works but is not optimised and getting the most out of what I have. I also have a few issues where signal is being passed between hardware and the not being received properly. I need an expert of hardware and software set ups to tweak my studio to iron out a few issues.

Required skills and experience:
-Expert in configuring routings from hardware to Focusrite Control
-Experience in setting up home studios with mixers and synth / samplers.
-Configurations for electronic music production
-Deep knowledge of synths / samplers and routings
-Understanding of electronic music production

Time effectiveness is key so I would appreciate a freelancer capable of delivering a swift and professional service. If you want an upfront call to get more info that would be fine.

Please don't apply on the basis of figuring it out on the fly, I have a decent knowledge of my studio equipment but have a few tuning issues I need resolved by someone who has been doing this for years.

Please let me know about your studio and relevant experience.

Many thanks!
