Composer Needed for Multigenre Musical Score
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
I've written a musical that needs your professional touch. The songs have influences from Classical, Jazz, Pop, and Hip Hop so I'd like to find someone comfortable working within these genres.
The instruments to be used in the score include String, Wind, and Percussion instruments. Therefore, strong orchestration skills, versatility and creativity are essential.
Each song averages 2-5 minutes, so it's important to find someone capable of maintaining interest and telling a story within this framework.
Skills and experience for the job:
- Proficiency in Classical, Jazz, Pop, and Hip Hop composition
- Extensive experience with String, Wind, and Percussion instruments
- Ability to score for a variety of song lengths
- Creative and dynamic capability to sustain interest through music
"Blood libel" takes place in 15th Century, Castile (Spain). It is a love story between a Jewish girl and a Christian nobleman and describes how the lovers navigate their romance among the hostility of their respective parents, the Inquisition and racist neighbours.
There are 16 songs in total all of which have scores but since I cannot read or write music I need someone with the technical ability to make the changes to the score and advise on improvements to the vocals and instrumentation.
