Audio engineering
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for an experienced audio engineer to assist with our short-term music production and design upgrade project onsite near Darlington, MD.
Requirements:
- Expertise in sound design and music production, including mixing, and mastering
- Ability to create high-quality audio production solutions that align with desired outcomes.
- We have specific requirements for troubleshooting and optimization, leading to recommendations on improvements and modifications to address known audio quality issues and in the small worship venue (46’ x 35’). These include (1) improvement of speech intelligibility during spoken segments of services and (2) reducing music volume to acceptable levels while optimizing audibility of instruments and congregational singing during live performance.
Guidelines:
- The engineer should be able to work closely with our team to ensure that the final product meets our expectations
Skills and experience:
- Proven experience in live music production
- Proficiency in using and optimizing audio equipment, including “ringing out” a room, usage of acoustic treatments and spectrum analyzers
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a small volunteer team
