macOS Audio Clipping Script

Job ID: 39922733

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I have an existing drag-and-drop shortcut on an older Mac that runs a terminal-based audio tool to scan WAV files for digital clipping and compiles the results into a single PDF report.

I now need the same convenience on my newer machine running macOS Monterey, with forward-compatibility for upcoming macOS releases. In practical terms, I’m after:

• A modern shell script, Automator action, or Shortcuts workflow that lets me drop one or more WAV files onto it.
• Automatic execution of the clipping-detection command-line utility I already use (I’ll supply the binary).
• A generated PDF summarising each file analysed and highlighting any clipping incidents.
• Clear setup instructions so I can move or reinstall the workflow on future macOS versions.

I’m happy to walk through the current setup on Zoom or a quick call, share the legacy script, and test early builds on my end. If this sounds straightforward to you, let’s get it running smoothly on the latest macOS.
