USB Headphone Conversion Design
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I already have access to a well-built analog headset; what’s missing is the electronics that will let it appear on any computer as a true USB-A device. I need the complete design of a tiny board (codec or suitable USB audio SoC) that fits inside an ear-cup, exposes driver-free audio on Windows/macOS, and supports three physical controls: volume up/down plus a dedicated push-to-talk switch for calls and gaming.
Target performance is clear: clean stereo playback, high-fidelity response, and active or hybrid noise-cancellation that rivals current branded USB headsets. Built-in microphone support must preserve voice quality when the push-to-talk key is released.
Deliverables
• Circuit schematic, PCB layout (Gerber + pick-and-place files) and BOM
• Firmware or register configuration for the chosen USB audio chip, ready to flash or factory-program
• Mechanical guidance so the board, microphone, and any ANC components fit the existing shell without re-tooling
• Brief test plan showing how to verify audio specs, key functions, and USB enumeration on Windows and macOS
I’ll handle physical sourcing and assembly once the design is finalized, so please make component choices with global availability in mind and indicate any long lead items. If you have prior experience integrating USB audio codecs, ANC DSP blocks, or writing simple HID control firmware, this should be a straightforward collaboration.
