On-Site vMix Streaming Assistant (Germany Only)

Job ID: 39918153

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

I run Hybrid auctions and need a technically minded pair of hands for each event — roughly 20–30 dates per year in the Bremen–Osnabrück region (Germany).
Your strongest skill should be operating vMix, as that’s where the extra help is most valuable. Every show is built around a dedicated vMix PC, so real-world experience with the platform — shortcuts, multi-view layouts, dynamic lower thirds, instant replay — will let you dive straight in without a learning curve.

Before we go live, you’ll help set up cables, position monitors, link laptops, and connect SDI cameras. You’ll also install monitors at the auctioneer’s desk and connect them via wireless video link to the computers in the control room. At some venues, we run long fiber cables (up to 200 meters) to transmit camera signals to the control desk — these lines are terminated using SDI converters to maintain signal quality.

Once the auction starts, you’ll sit at the desk, sharing switching duties, monitoring audio and video feeds, and keeping an eye on stream stability. After the final hammer falls, you’ll help strike the rig and pack all flight cases for transport.

All gigs take place on location in northern Germany, often at rural auction venues. Therefore, you must be based in Germany — ideally within driving distance of Bremen or Osnabrück. Reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to travel are essential. A driver’s licence helps, though we can sometimes arrange shared transport.

If well-paid freelance work with a friendly crew sounds appealing, drop a short note outlining your vMix experience, availability, and any standout live productions you’ve supported.
I look forward to having you beside me at the next auction.
