On-Site OBS Studio Setup
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
On-site assistance is required in my Sydney CBD office to install, configure and test OBS Studio exclusively for live streaming. The stream will not be gaming, educational, or a formal corporate event, so the scene layout must remain flexible enough to handle a variety of “other” content types.
Key outcomes I expect:
• OBS Studio installed on the dedicated PC, updated to the latest stable release.
• Audio (XLR interface and USB microphone) and video sources (two HDMI cameras) added, synced and checked for latency.
• At least two reusable scene collections created, incorporating lower-thirds, logo stingers and a simple picture-in-picture.
• Bit-rate, encoder and resolution optimised for a solid connection over our office network, followed by a short live test to one of my streaming accounts.
• A brief walkthrough so I understand how to start and stop the stream, switch scenes and troubleshoot common issues, plus a one-page cheat sheet left behind.
All work must be performed during business hours; building access is straightforward, and a parking voucher can be provided if needed.
