Single-Person Documentary Interview Shoot Modesto California

Job ID: 39834717

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m producing a short documentary and want a polished, sit-down interview with a single speaker. The session will happen in my home office, so you’ll be bringing the full production kit: an HD camera capable of crisp 1080p (4K welcome), a reliable wireless lavalier system, and a small three-point lighting setup.

Visually, I’m aiming for a dark, seamless look—black or deep-grey backdrop if you can supply one. Should that prove tricky in the space, a clean, professional office composition is the fallback. Either way, the image needs to be sharp and evenly lit, and the audio free of hiss, echo, or clipping.

Scope of work
• Arrive on the agreed date, set up camera, lights, and sound in the office.
• Capture roughly 30–45 minutes of uninterrupted interview footage.
• Hand over the raw video (MOV or MP4) and a separate 48 kHz WAV audio track via download link or drive at wrap.

Acceptance criteria
• Proper exposure, no blown highlights.
• Consistent focus on the subject’s eyes throughout.
• Clean audio with clear voice and no background noise.
• Background either pure black/dark grey or a tidy, well-framed office scene.

We can schedule any weekday afternoon next week, and there’s easy parking directly outside.
