1-In 3-Out Mixer Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an audio-grade, one-input / three-output distribution mixer engineered from the ground up for live performance rigs. The unit must keep each of the three outputs electrically isolated, with its own smooth volume pot and a dedicated hard-mute switch so front-of-house, on-stage monitors and a recording feed can all be managed independently without crosstalk or level drift.
Expect quiet, low-impedance circuitry, balanced line operation, and enough headroom to handle hot stage signals. Size, power requirements and component selection should favour rugged touring use—standard ±15 V or single 12 V rails are fine as long as noise performance stays clean.
To keep the project moving swiftly, I’ll need the following tangible deliverables:
• Complete schematic (PDF + editable design file)
• PCB layout with Gerber files, drill files and clear silkscreen labelling
• Annotated bill of materials with manufacturer part numbers and availability notes
• Brief build guide that covers enclosure wiring, pot and switch mounting, and power hookup
• Verification notes or simple test plan so I can confirm channel isolation, THD+N and signal-to-noise on the bench
Please use any mainstream EDA tool you’re comfortable with—KiCad, Altium or Eagle all work for me—as long as I receive the native file set.
