Orchestrate Humorous 12-Song Cycle

I have written a twelve-song cycle of light-hearted, witty pieces and now I’m ready to hear them fully dressed. All songs exist as finished piano/vocal scores and rough piano reference tracks, so the musical foundation is clear; what I need is the colour, texture and sparkle that will push the humour over the top.

Style & palette
My ear leans toward a playful mix of classical and pop. Think strings and brass trading punchlines over a tight rhythm bed, with percussion jumps and swells that underline each lyrical joke. I’ve specifically flagged strings, brass and percussion because they suit the comic timing of the lyrics, but I’m very open to any extra colours you feel will serve the gags.

Vocal approach
Ideally the finished tracks will also include vocals. I’m imagining a flexible delivery that can slide between classical clarity, pop immediacy and a touch of musical-theatre storytelling whenever it helps the joke land. If you can perform (or contract) those vocals, great—otherwise leave space and provide a guide.

What I’ll supply
• PDF sheet music for every song (piano/vocal score)
• Rough piano demos for tempo, groove and phrasing reference
• Lyric sheets with a few notes on intended punch lines and feel

What I need back
• Fully orchestrated score for each song (Sibelius, Finale, or standard PDF)
• Stem files and a stereo mix for every track, ready for mastering
• MIDI files for future tweaks
• If you handle vocals: a separate dry vocal stem plus a mixed version

Acceptance check
The arrangements must keep the harmonic structure intact, place the punch lines in musical “spotlight” moments, and feature audible roles for strings, brass and percussion in every song. I’ll review one completed chart first to confirm direction, then we’ll roll through the remaining eleven with two revision passes each.
