One-Time Podcast Studio Setup
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’ve converted a spare room into a podcast studio and now need a knowledgeable engineer or technician to spend a single session on-site wiring, positioning, and calibrating the gear so everything is ready to record right away.
The best outcome possibly will be at studio which is located in Delhi, India. Looking for an in person experience only , virtual and remote won't work.
Here’s where things stand:
• Audio: I already own the microphones, but I’d like you to design a surround-sound monitoring path and fine-tune gain staging so guests hear a clean, balanced mix in their headphones and the recorder captures the same quality.
• Lighting: I only require a basic three-point arrangement—nothing fancy—just enough to flatter faces on camera and avoid harsh shadows. Advice on bulb temperature and diffusion is welcome.
• Cameras: I have bodies picked out but haven’t mounted or cabled them. I need help framing the set, running HDMI/SDI to the switcher, and setting exposure so I can hit Record without fiddling each time.
By the end of your visit I expect:
1. All cables neatly run, labeled, and tested.
2. Mic inputs and headphone outputs free of hums or feedback.
3. Lights placed and color-balanced to match the room’s paint and décor.
4. Camera angles locked in with matching white balance and focus.
5. A quick reference sheet noting every setting so I can reproduce the setup on my own.
