NFC-Triggered Audio Device Prototype

I need a working prototype of a small, self-contained audio player that recognises NTAG NFC cards, then—only after I press a designated button—plays the MP3 file linked to that card. The flow I’m after is simple: tap an NTAG card, an LED confirms it’s recognised, I press the button, and the selected MP3 starts through an onboard speaker or 3.5 mm jack.

Prefer it to be someone from Bangalore, India that I can collaborate physically offline.

You’ll be responsible for the full hardware–firmware loop: choosing a suitable NFC reader module, integrating an MP3-capable codec/decoder, handling local storage (SD or equivalent), driving basic UI elements using an e-ink screen and powering everything from USB or battery. Clean, well-commented firmware is essential so I can iterate on card–file associations later.

Deliverables
• Functional breadboard or PCB prototype ready for demo
• Firmware source (preferably C/C++ or Arduino-compatible) with build instructions
• Schematic, BOM, and brief design notes highlighting key components and NFC antenna tuning
• Short video or live call showing the prototype reading an NTAG, waiting for the button press, then playing the mapped MP3

If you already have experience with NTAG integration, low-power audio playback, or similar cue-based devices, that will help us move quickly.

Description:
I am looking for an electronics engineer to design a custom PCB for a consumer audio device.

MCU: ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 (Surface mount module).

Peripherals: MAX98357A (Audio), SD Card Slot, PN532 (NFC), 5 Tactile Buttons, USB-C for charging/data.

Power: TP4056 or similar LiPo charging circuit.

Constraints:
Max Dimensions: 36mm x 56mm (Must fit inside enclosed STEP file).

Shape: Rectangular with mounting holes at specific coordinates (I will provide DXF).

Components: Must be Single-Sided layout (all chips on top) if possible to save thickness.

Deliverables: Gerber Files, BOM (LCSC preferred), Pick & Place file.
