Internet Radio Audio Setup Expert

Job ID: 40570209

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I’m getting ready to launch an Internet radio stream and want the on-air sound to be as polished as any professional station. My priority is audio setup and optimisation, from microphone chain through to the encoder that will feed my Icecast/Shoutcast server.

Although the core project is for Internet radio, I also send occasional simulcasts to YouTube Live, so the chain you build should translate cleanly there too. Networking, servers and scheduling are already in place—I simply need your engineering ears and technical know-how to make the audio sparkle.

What I expect from you
• Analyse my existing gear (mics, mixer/interface, processors, software encoder).
• Recommend and apply EQ, compression and loudness settings that meet streaming best practices.
• Configure the encoder for consistent, artefact-free output.
• Walk me through a live test stream and provide a quick reference sheet so I can replicate the settings.

Work is in site only, in Woodland Hills, California. If you’ve tuned audio for Internet radio before—and especially if you’ve balanced levels for platforms like YouTube Live—let’s talk.
