Identify & Recreate Pop Vocal Effect
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m chasing the glossy, slightly synthetic tone you hear in these two records:

The focus is strictly on matching their tone and timbre for a modern pop context. I have already thrown VocalSynth 2, AlterBoy, Waves Ovox, Arturia Vocoder V, FL Vocodex and plain Auto-Tune formant shifting at it, but I’m stuck at roughly 60 % similarity.
What I need from you is a clear breakdown of the actual processing chain—or a convincingly close alternative—and proof that it works.
Deliverables
• Identification of the exact plugin(s) or combination responsible for the effect, with version numbers where relevant.
• Step-by-step settings or preset files that recreate the sound on a dry vocal (I use Ableton Live; other DAWs are fine as long as settings are transferable).
• Short before-and-after audio examples so I can A/B your result.
• Any custom patches or configuration files created in the process.
Acceptance criteria: when I apply your chain, the vocal’s tone and timbre should be at least 90 % of what’s heard in the references.
Please flag any required paid plugins that aren’t already in my list so I can plan ahead. I’m eager to wrap this up, so feel free to reach out with questions or preliminary thoughts.
