We are EVenture Diaries, a YouTube channel focused onEV Tech. Our goal is to create high-retention, engaging short-form content that educates and entertains our audience. We are looking for a creative partner, not just a button-pusher.
The Role
We are looking for a freelance Shorts Specialist to join our team. Your main job is to take ownership of the creative process—from pitching viral ideas to delivering the final polished edit.
We don't want you to wait for instructions; we want you to tell us what content we should be making based on current trends and our niche.
Responsibilities
Ideation & Pitching: Research current trends in the [Insert Niche] space and pitch 3-5 video concepts weekly.
Scripting: Write compelling hooks and concise scripts (under 60 seconds) designed for maximum viewer retention.
Editing: Edit high-quality Shorts (using Premiere Pro, DaVinci, or CapCut) featuring dynamic captions, b-roll, sound effects, and fast-paced cuts.
Optimization: Select trending audio and suggest titles/hashtags for upload.
Requirements
Proven experience creating YouTube Shorts, Reels, or TikToks (Portfolio required).
Deep understanding of "retention editing" (hooks, pacing, visual changes).
Ability to identify viral trends before they saturate the market.
Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
