I’m creating a song that celebrates Africa in a warm, uplifting way and need an original score that lives comfortably in the World Music space. I have written the lyrics. The sound should weave in unmistakable African character—think djembe, kora, talking drum or any other traditional instruments that inspire you—layered with rich vocal harmonies to lift the listener much like the opening swell of “Circle of Life.” The brief is celebratory rather than contemplative, so bright energy and a sense of communal joy are essential.
What I’ll need from you:
• A full-length, radio-ready stereo master (WAV or AIFF).
• Individual stems for each instrument and vocal part so I can manage the mix later if needed.
• A basic score or lead sheet that maps out melody, chords and key rhythmic figures.
