Job Brief – Audio Engineer (Vocal Setup & Streaming)

Objective:
I need an experienced audio engineer to help me set up live streaming vocals with a classic vintage sound (Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, etc.) using my current equipment.

My Gear Setup:

- Microphone: Shure Beta 58A
- Vocal Processor: TC-Helicon VoiceLive 3
- Digital Mixer: Midas MR12
- Audio Interface: Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 (4rd Gen)
- Streaming Software: BUTT (for broadcasting))

Main Requirements:

- Create audio presets (EQ, compressor, reverb, delay, limiter, etc.) to achieve a warm, vintage crooner-style sound.
- Set up routing & gain staging properly from mic to streaming software.
- Provide preset files (if possible, e.g., for Midas MR12 or Voicelive 3) or clear documentation for manual setup.
- Guidance on monitoring and keeping levels consistent during live sessions.
- (Optional) Additional setup for vocal + guitar/violin.

Deliverables:

- Detailed documentation of audio settings (EQ, Comp, Reverb, Delay, etc.).
- Preset files (.scn for Midas MR12, etc.) if available.
- Quick troubleshooting guide to maintain consistent sound.
- Remote session (Zoom/Google Meet) to finalize and test setup in real time.

Skills Required:

- Proven experience as an audio engineer (live sound / streaming).
- Familiar with digital mixers (Midas / Behringer X Air series).
- Knowledge of classic crooner vocal tone shaping.
- Ability to explain settings and workflow clearly.

Work Duration:

1–2 remote setup sessions (1–2 hours each).
Follow-up Q&A support after the first session.
