YouTube Social Experiment Video Editor for Ongoing Projects
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
Fourth Frame Media is looking for an experienced video editor to join us for ongoing YouTube projects focused on social experiments, dating concepts, group challenges, guessing games, and personality-driven entertainment.
The editor will work with multi-camera footage and external audio to turn each shoot into an engaging, well-paced video with a clear story. The role includes selecting the strongest moments, removing repetitive sections, building tension and humour, and maintaining viewer interest throughout the video.
Editing responsibilities may include:
* Syncing footage from multiple cameras and audio sources
* Creating a strong narrative from unscripted footage
* Adding subtitles, music, sound effects, zooms, transitions, and simple graphics
* Improving pacing and audience retention
* Basic colour correction and audio cleanup
* Exporting final videos in the required YouTube format
* Making reasonable revisions based on feedback
* Providing organised project files when requested
We are looking for someone who understands YouTube entertainment content and can identify the moments that make a video more interesting, funny, emotional, or suspenseful. Experience with reality-style, dating, challenge, or social experiment videos is strongly preferred.
This will begin with one paid trial video, with the possibility of consistent work if the editing quality, communication, and turnaround time are a good fit.
Please include two or three relevant portfolio examples, the editing software you use, your typical turnaround time, and a brief explanation of your experience editing similar content.
