YouTube Series Video Editor Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Project: Video Editor for Dialogue-Based YouTube Series
I am a writer and thinker with a background in economics, finance, philosophy, and geopolitics. I have written multiple books and am now building a YouTube-based dialogue series focused on clear thinking in a noisy world.
My strength is content creation and dialogue. I am looking for a video editor who is strong in assembly and pacing, so I can stay focused on writing and inquiry.
Format
Long-form, dialogue-based videos
A conversation between:
me (human voice, recorded)
AI-generated responses (voice provided)
Calm, contemplative pacing
Minimalist visuals that support the dialogue rather than compete with it
Your Role
You would take:
A finalized script
Voice files (human + AI)
A chosen background video (I use Storyblocks)
And assemble:
Clean, well-paced videos
With simple, consistent visuals
No flashy edits, no fast cuts, no “YouTube hype”
Think: quiet, intelligent, contemplative.
Tools
Pictory (preferred, but open to suggestions)
Storyblocks (provided)
Basic audio syncing and scene timing
Projected Output
5–10 videos per week
Typical length: 8–15 minutes
Consistent format once the workflow is established
What I’m Looking For
Someone reliable, calm, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working from clear instructions
Not looking to “add creative flair”
Interested in a longer-term collaboration, not a one-off gig
If this sounds like a good fit, please respond with:
Your experience editing dialogue-based or long-form videos
Tools you are comfortable using
One example of a project where restraint and pacing mattered
