YouTube Documentary Sound Designer

Job ID: 40622465

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m producing a series of YouTube mini-documentaries and I need a dedicated sound designer to elevate each episode. The core of the job is threefold: build a dramatic, intense musical bed that supports the storytelling, add carefully placed sound effects for key visual moments, and polish my recorded narration so it sits cleanly in the final mix.

Here’s how I picture the workflow. I’ll supply a locked picture edit with a reference track and a separate WAV of the raw voiceover. You’ll create an original score (or expertly curate royalty-free cues) that keeps tension high without overpowering dialogue. SFX should accent actions on screen—doors closing, archival camera clicks, subtle whooshes for graphic reveals—always enhancing, never distracting. Finally, the voiceover needs EQ, de-essing, light compression, and any noise reduction required to achieve a broadcast-quality master.

Deliverables
• Stereo mix (24-bit/48 kHz WAV) ready for upload
• Separate stems: VO, music, SFX
• Session file (Premiere Pro, Resolve Fairlight, Pro Tools, or similar—your choice)

Please share a portfolio link highlighting documentary or narrative work with a dramatic tone. If everything clicks, this will become an ongoing collaboration across the entire series.
