Weekly Podcast Audio Cleanup Specialist

Job ID: 39856331

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I am aiming to release a 30-minute show every two weeks (starting at least monthly) and need a reliable audio editor who can take the raw tracks and return a polished episode within seven to ten days. I handle the recording; you handle everything that makes it sound broadcast-ready.

Here’s what the workflow looks like. You’ll receive two mono WAV files (host + guest) plus a brief rundown of any notable moments. I need you to remove background noise, trim filler words and long pauses, even out the volumes, and add tasteful EQ or gentle compression so the conversation feels natural yet consistent from start to finish.

The episode opens and closes with a neutral, professional-sounding theme. I’ll supply the music bed, a short voice-over tag, and a couple of subtle sound effects; you’ll assemble them into a clean intro/outro that flows right into the talk track.

Because I don’t have a specific reference podcast to copy, I’ll describe the tone I’m after—think public-radio clarity without sounding over-processed—and I’ll count on your ear to get us there.

Typical commitment is two to three hours a week, every week. Turnaround max: ten days.

Deliverables:
• One mastered MP3 (192 kbps) and a 24-bit WAV archive
• Separate intro/outro stems in case I need to reuse them
• A short note on any audio issues you had to fix

If you have recent podcast samples that show off clean edits and balanced levels, send a link when you apply—I’d love to hear your work.
