Student Film Audio Post-Production -- 2

Job ID: 40141447

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have just locked picture on a 13-minute student short and now need a complete audio pass so it sounds as polished as it looks. The cut moves between three locations—school corridors and classrooms, a quiet suburban house, and a moving car—so each of those spaces needs its own believable ambience that flows naturally beneath the action.

My priorities are crystal-clear dialogue and atmospheres that feel authentic to those environments; big sound-effects work isn’t necessary unless you think it will help sell the scene. The production tracks have the usual issues: light hiss, a bit of background hum, and the occasional bump, so they will need careful cleaning, EQ, and gentle noise reduction before anything else goes on top.

Once the dialogue is pristine, I’m looking for subtle ambience beds tailored to the three locations above, plus a balanced overall mix that can sit comfortably next to the musical score I already have. I’ll be delivering the film online, so a stereo master (24-bit/48 kHz WAV) along with separate dialogue and ambience stems will be perfect.

If you enjoy dialogue-centric projects and have a knack for building convincing interior and vehicle ambiences, I’d love to hear how you’d approach the work and how quickly you could turn it around.
