Short Film Audio Restoration
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’ve wrapped shooting on a 5-minute narrative short, but some of the audio came back distorted. The issue is isolated to the dialogue and music tracks—ambience and effects are fine—so I need a focused cleanup rather than a full remix.
Scope
• Restore clarity on the dialogue stems and the composed score, removing clipping and digital distortion without introducing artifacts.
• Re-sync the repaired tracks to picture so final lip-sync remains frame-accurate.
• Deliver a print-ready stereo mix (24-bit WAV) plus separate cleaned stems for dialogue, music, and effects.
I’ve already organized the session in Pro Tools; you’re welcome to work in Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic, or similar, as long as the result slots straight back into the edit. Experience with iZotope RX or comparable spectral repair tools is highly preferred.
Once we agree on the hand-off, I’ll share an OMF/AAF, reference video, and a cue sheet. I’m aiming for a polished festival-ready soundtrack, so please highlight past work where you rescued dialogue or music from distortion.
