Resolve MacStudio Focusrite Connection
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen will not appear anywhere on my new MacStudio. This is the very first time I have tried to hook it up, the USB-C cable and port have already been ruled out as the problem, but macOS simply refuses to see the interface. I may or may not have the correct Focusrite Control package on the machine—honestly I’m not sure—so driver or security-permission issues could be at play as well.
What I need is clear guidance (or a quick remote session) that gets the Scarlett Solo reliably detected in System Settings > Sound and in any DAW I open. Once the interface shows up, I should be able to record and play back audio without pops, drop-outs, or latency surprises.
In home set up would be great.
Deliverable
• MacStudio recognizes the Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen and passes audio in both directions.
