Remove Traffic Noise From Voices

I’m sitting on a finished video recording that’s plagued by steady traffic noise, and I need the dialogue rescued. My only goal is to clear up the audio; I don’t mind if the end result sounds a little processed as long as every spoken word becomes crisp and intelligible.

Here’s what I have and what I’m after:
• One mixed-down video file with voices + traffic rumble.
• I’d like a cleaned-up audio track (WAV or high-quality MP3) where the voices are isolated and the traffic is removed to the greatest extent possible—even if this introduces a slightly artificial tone.
• If you can re-sync the restored audio back onto the video, that’s a plus, but the priority is the pristine vocal track itself.

You’re free to use whichever tools you trust—iZotope RX, Adobe Audition, Reaper with plugins, or your own custom chain—as long as you can push the voices to maximum clarity and keep artefacts minimal.

Before we wrap, I’ll spot-check a couple of the noisiest moments to be sure the traffic is effectively gone and the dialogue is perfectly intelligible. Once that’s met, the job is done.
