**Freelance Video Editor – Monthly Engagement (Professional Practice)**
We are engaging a professional freelance video editor for ongoing monthly work for a professional practice. High standards of quality, consistency, confidentiality, and turnaround time are mandatory.
**Initial Recording Setup Guidance**
*The freelancer must guide and advise on the initial video recording setup to ensure optimal output quality
**Guidance may include:
*Camera framing and angles
*Lighting placement and settings
*Audio/microphone setup
*Background and basic recording environment suggestions
**Monthly Scope of Work**
**Short Videos**
* 70–80 videos per month
* Approx. 5 minutes each
**Long Videos**
* 10 videos per month
* Duration: **1+ hour each**

**Editing Requirements**
* Professional-quality editing suitable for **YouTube and digital platforms**
* Removal of errors, long pauses, and irrelevant portions
* Clean cuts, smooth transitions, and proper sequencing
* Text overlays, titles, captions where required
* Audio cleaning, enhancement, and proper synchronization
* Reference videos will be provided to explain the expected editing style

**Turnaround Time (Strict)**
* Time is of the essence
* Each video must be delivered within 1–2 working days from receipt of raw footage and instructions
* Any anticipated delay must be communicated in advance and approved
* Unjustified delays may lead to rejection or milestone cancellation

**Revisions & Approval**
* Unlimited revisions per video within the agreed scope, at no additional cost
* Revisions may include cuts, trims, audio fixes, text/title changes, and alignment corrections
* Editing work is considered complete only after explicit client approval
* Client’s decision on satisfaction and approval shall be final

**Communication & Availability**
* Freelancer must remain reasonably available on calls and WhatsApp
* Prompt responses for coordination, feedback, and clarifications are essential
* Repeated non-responsiveness may be treated as non-performance

**Payment Terms**
* Payments released **monthly**, based on completed and approved milestones
* No advance payment
* Payment will be made only after successful delivery and approval of all videos for the relevant period

**Certification**
* Upon satisfactory completion of the engagement or agreed milestone period, the freelancer will be issued a Work Experience / Performance Certification on the official letterhead of the firm
* Issuance of certification shall be solely at the discretion of the client, subject to quality, consistency, and professional conduct

**Confidentiality & Ownership**
* All raw footage, edited videos, reference materials, and discussions are **strictly confidential**
* Content must not be shared, reused, published, or displayed, including portfolio use, without written consent
* All intellectual property rights vest exclusively with the client
* Confidentiality obligations survive completion or termination

**Termination**
* Failure to meet quality standards, timelines, or communication requirements may result in immediate termination
* No obligation to release pending payments in case of non-performance
