Podcast Editor
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Hello potential freelancers,
We are looking for an experienced podcast editor to help us with our weekly podcast show:
Length: Creating an episode of 35-45 minutes from a 60-minute recording.
Software: Using GarageBand, each episode has separate tracks (host, guest, music).
Sound: Ensuring the audio is clear, balanced, and free from background noise, pops, or hisses, adjusting audio levels for consistent volume.
Noises: Removing um’s, ah’s, verbal tics, mouth clicks, background noise, or other distractions while maintaining a natural flow of conversation.
Pacing: Remove any long pauses, tangents, or instances where the conversation drags, keeping the episode concise, engaging, and with a pleasing rhythm
Content: Organize content effectively, re-arrange segments, remove repetitive or irrelevant sections, and ensure the episode follows a logical structure.
Transitions: The episode comprises 5-8 minutes segments with a music transition in between. Each part corresponds to a different topic.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate editor who is comfortable with audio production, can work quickly to tight deadlines, and is committed to delivering high-quality results.
