Podcast Audio Editing
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m looking for an audio editor who can take my raw podcast recordings and turn each episode into a polished, listener-ready file. All basic clean-up is already expected, but the real focus is on intermediate touches—dropping in my supplied intro and outro tracks, weaving background music underneath the main discussion where appropriate, and ensuring smooth transitions between segments.
You’ll receive:
• the raw, uncompressed audio files
• separate WAV/MP3 files for the intro, outro, and stingers
• a clear episode rundown that spells out the sequence of segments, ad breaks, and any timing notes
In return, I need:
• a final mixed stereo file (44.1 kHz/16-bit WAV plus 128 kbps MP3)
• clean edits with obvious dead air, ums, and stumbles removed without affecting flow
• consistent loudness around ‑16 LUFS so every episode sounds uniform
• a short notes sheet listing any sections that required special attention or could use a re-record
I typically record one episode a week (30–40 minutes of raw audio), so if we click, this could become an ongoing gig. Please let me know which DAW or tools you prefer—Audition, Reaper, Pro Tools, or anything comparable—along with a link to at least one sample of similar work.
