Personal Skills Video Portfolio
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m looking for a skilled video editor to turn my scattered clips—debating rounds, piano takes, snippets of code running, and quick book-reading bites—into a fast-paced, engaging video portfolio that captures how passionately and curiously I learn.
Timeline:
This project must be completed within 1–3 days max. Please apply only if you can fully commit to this turnaround and deliver high-quality work.
Concept & Style:
Each skill should appear in its own short clip, but rather than grouping them by category, the edit should feel spontaneous and unpredictable—cutting from a heated debate to a bass line, then to a terminal window, and back again. I’m looking for quick cuts, punchy transitions, subtle motion graphics, and a soundtrack that maintains momentum throughout.
The overall mood should be dynamic, energetic, and personal, not stiff, commercial, or overly polished. The goal is to surprise the viewer every few seconds and leave them impressed by the range and intensity of what I do.
What I’ll Provide:
Raw video footage
Photos
Screen recordings
Reference tracks (if needed)
A recorded voiceover (or script + raw VO)
What You’ll Handle:
Selecting the strongest moments from the footage
Editing for pacing, rhythm, and flow
Color-grading for visual consistency
Audio cleanup and balancing
Integrating my voiceover naturally
Adding minimal lower-thirds or captions only where context is useful
Exporting a final video optimized for web playback
Stylistic Guardrails:
No flashy templates or overused YouTube effects
No gimmicky sound effects
No influencer-style editing
The edit should feel intentional, intelligent, and authentic. Captions should be minimal and purposeful—used for clarity, not narration or decoration. Avoid heavy filters or dramatic color looks. Natural, clean grading is preferred.
Music:
Music must be royalty-free or original (unless explicitly cleared). It should enhance energy without overpowering dialogue or visuals. Voiceover should always take priority over music in the mix.
Technical Specs:
Target length: ~90 seconds (tight, no filler)
Aspect ratio: 16:9
Final format: HD, H.264
Deliverables:
One fully rendered video (HD, H.264)
Editable project file (Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci—whichever you use)
Revisions & Workflow:
I’ll give feedback after the first rough cut. Two revision passes should be enough to finalize pacing and polish.
Suggested workflow:
Day 1: Assembly cut
Day 2: Rough cut
Day 3: Final delivery
The opening 5–7 seconds should immediately hook the viewer and set the tone. If this aligns with your style and you can meet the timeline, I’m ready to start immediately.
