90-Minute Audio Restoration

I have a single 90-minute recording that I’d like cleaned up for personal reference. Throughout the file you will hear a Spotify “gentle waves” soundtrack that sits on top of the dialogue. My aim is to strip out that ambient track, suppress any residual hiss or hum, and then bring the background conversations to the forefront so every word in those side chats is as clear as possible.

What I need from you
• Remove or heavily reduce the waves soundtrack without introducing artefacts.
• Even out volume differences so quieter background voices are intelligible.
• Preserve the natural quality of speech—no metallic or robotic leftovers.
• Supply the restored file in WAV (48 kHz/24-bit) plus an MP3 reference. If you work in iZotope RX, Adobe Audition, Reaper, or similar, please also include the session or chain so I can revisit settings later.

Acceptance check
I will listen on studio headphones; the target is a noise floor that sits comfortably under the conversations and a clear separation from the gentle-wave bed. If any words remain masked or distorted, I’ll send short time-codes for one revision round.

The raw recording is ready to send as soon as we agree on the workflow and turnaround.
