Light-hearted 60th Birthday Tribute Film
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m putting together a 15-minute “This Is Your Life” spoof for my best mate’s 60th and need a pro who can steer the whole production from camera roll to final cut.
Here’s the idea
• A host introduces “guests” who step in front of the camera to share their funniest memories of the birthday boy.
• All interviews will be captured in person—one comfortable location, back-to-back slots, plenty of laughter.
• The finished piece should flow like a cheeky TV special: quick-fire anecdotes, reaction shots, light musical stings, and playful lower-thirds that pop up each guest’s name.
What I’ll supply
– A shooting venue, schedule, and the list of guests.
– Old photos and a few mobile clips you can weave in as cutaways.
What I need from you
– Multi-camera or single-camera setup with clean audio capture.
– Direction during interviews so stories stay snappy and light-hearted.
– Post-production: selecting the best bits, adding titles/graphics, colour-grading, balancing audio, and delivering a polished 1080p (or higher) MP4 around the 15-minute mark that’s party-ready for laptop-to-projector playback.
Acceptance criteria
1. Pacing keeps energy up; no section drags longer than 90 seconds.
2. Humour remains good-natured—nothing that would embarrass the guest of honour.
3. Final render supplied one week before the party to allow a full viewing check.
