Junior Podcast Audio Editor Needed - Mainly silence removal between question and answers

Job ID: 39618225

Budget: $10 – $30 AUD

I'm in search of a junior audio editor to trim out the dead air of my podcast episodes, each around 30 minutes in duration. The primary focus is on cutting out dead air to ensure a smooth and engaging listening experience and adding the intro music at the start and end.

A Premiere Pro template file will be provided, alongside the music assets. A host audio feed and a separate guest audio feed will be provided.

The audio files will be close to being levelled and mixed already, so it's mainly a matter of trimming the pauses between the guests and host questions and answers.

At times there are artifacts from the audio clean up that may need to be removed, for example the host may laugh softly but the audio enhancement will cause it sound strange, so it would be a simple matter of muting the mic at that time.

The expectations are not that high so mastering the mix is not paramount.

Key Requirements:
- Expertise in audio editing with a focus on removing dead air
- Experience with noise reduction and volume levelling is a plus
- Quick turnaround for episodes around 30 minutes

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong attention to detail and a good ear to mute audio artifacts

If you have a knack for creating polished and professional audio, I'd love to hear from you!
