Japanese Linguist for Drama Series QC and QA

Job ID: 40254714

Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR

I need a sharp-eyed Japanese linguist to run full quality checks on a series of short drama episodes that have already been dubbed and subtitled. Your mandate is simple: watch each cut from start to finish, catch anything that could disrupt the viewer’s experience, and hand back clear, actionable notes.

Here’s what matters most to me:
• Dialogue accuracy – every line in Japanese must mirror the original script in meaning, emotion, and naturalness.
• Audio-video sync – voice, lip movement, and subtitle timing must align perfectly.
• Cultural relevance – idioms, references, and emotional beats must feel native, never forced.

You’ll flag and suggest fixes for language issues, audio or visual sync slips, and any formatting problems you notice (subtitle styling, on-screen text, credits, etc.). A typical episode runs just a few minutes, so the focus is on depth of review rather than length of content.

Deliverables for each episode:
1. A marked-up script or comment sheet noting every issue with timestamp, a brief description, and your recommended correction.
2. Confirmation that you have re-checked the episode after fixes have been applied and that it is release-ready.

If you’ve previously handled video QA, localization QC, or dubbing review, tell me about it and share a short sample or redacted report if possible. The more convincingly you can show your attention to story flow and emotional nuance, the better.

Let me know when you can start and how many micro-episodes you can comfortably process per day. I’m ready to assign work right away.
