German Audio Transcription Project
Budget: €6 – €12 EUR
I need a reliable German-speaking transcriptionist who can keep pace with a sizeable and growing archive of business-meeting recordings.
Right now I have roughly 50 hours ready for transcription, and I expect another 1–3 hours of fresh audio to arrive each day. Here is what I’m looking for:
• Convert each recording into a clean Word document.
• Tag every utterance clearly by speaker number (e.g., “Speaker 1,” “Speaker 2,” etc.).
• Preserve the content accurately so the text can be used for internal business documentation and reference.
• Return files on a rolling basis so the backlog shrinks steadily and new material never waits more than a day.
The audio features normal corporate conversation and is provided as standard MP3s. Additionally, a dictionary of words is provided with specific terms and pronunciations. If you use diarization tools this is fine and can be agreed after review and approval of the tool you might want to use; consistency and accuracy matter more than the specific software. Please note that signing a Confidentiality Agreement (NDA) and complying with GDPR data privacy standards will be required before starting.
