Film Character Voice Processing

Job ID: 40075598

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a collection of raw voice recordings that must be transformed into believable character performances for a film soundtrack. Each take needs careful cleaning— believe voice alterations of the man asking questions, background noise of entering office door, sitting and leaving the office post interview and office room tone—followed by creative processing that matches the emotional intent of the scene. Pitch-shifting, formant tweaking, subtle modulation ( lowering man’s voice asking questions) and cinematic ambience are all on the table as long as the final result remains natural to the ear( setting office interview)!

I’ll provide the WAV stems, reference clips from the rough cut, and cue sheets noting timing, mood, and any required vocal effects. You’ll return fully mastered, level-matched files (24-bit/48 kHz WAV) ready to drop straight onto the film timeline. I typically work in Pro Tools and RX, so compatibility with those standards is ideal, but feel free to use your own toolkit as long as the exports slot in perfectly.

Deliverables:
• Cleaned, processed vocal stems for each cue
• One alternate take per line with a slightly different tonal shade
• A brief log of settings or plugins used, so we can replicate the chain if pick-ups are needed
If you love sculpting voices into vivid on-screen characters, let’s make these lines come alive.
