Extract Whispering From Phone Recording

I have an MP3 that runs a little over half an hour. Throughout the file there are brief, low-level whispers I need to isolate and make intelligible while keeping the rest of the recording natural-sounding.

The goal is a cleaned version in which:
• overall background noise is brought down to a moderate level—steady hiss, HVAC hum and handling rustle should sit well below the dialogue;
• every whisper is pulled forward enough to be clearly heard without introducing artifacts or pumping;
• no information is lost from the original track.

A transparent workflow is important to me, so please keep your spectral edits non-destructive and supply both the processed WAV/MP3 and your session or RX/Audition project file when you’re done. If you prefer another DAW, just let me know—those files are fine as long as I can retrace the steps.

I’ll consider the job complete once a quick spot-check across several whisper sections shows consistent clarity and the overall noise floor stays even.
