ELAN Time-Alignment AND Transcription for Dialogues of two speakers
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have nine short teacher-student dialogues that need meticulous segmentation in ELAN so I can run acoustic analyses later. The material is already roughly transcribed; I now need every utterance copied into its correct tier (Teacher / Student), checked the transcription is correct and each boundary snapped to the exact start and end of audible speech.
Recordings overview
• Person 1: 9 min, 9 min, 7 min
• Person 2: 2 min, 2 min, 2 min
• Person 3: 1 min, 2 min, 3 min
The final output must be time-aligned text, as that is the format I rely on for downstream processing. Please note that some speakers have foreign accents (Pakistani), so careful listening is essential to avoid drift or mis-tags.
Deliverables
- One .eaf file per recording containing two clearly labeled tiers (Teacher, Student) with boundaries accurate.
That’s the full scope—once the files return with clean alignment I can take it from there.
