Creative Podcast Audio Editor Needed
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I host a weekly podcast and want each episode to feel immersive yet refined. I’m after more than basic cuts—every show should flow seamlessly, carry subtle ambient background music, and feature tasteful sound effects that elevate the story while keeping a professional, polished tone.
Here’s what I need episode-by-episode:
• Clean up dialogue: remove ums, dead air, awkward pauses, and balance speaker levels.
• Enhance audio quality: gentle EQ, compression, and noise reduction so voices sit warm and clear.
• Creative sound design: weave in ambient beds and spot effects that match the topic without overpowering the conversation.
• Smooth transitions: cross-fades, stingers, and music cues that feel intentional and on-brand.
• Final masters: deliver WAV and high-quality MP3, loudness-normalized to podcast standards (around –16 LUFS).
I record in 44.1 kHz/24-bit stereo and can supply multitrack stems along with a brief for the episode’s mood. You’re welcome to work in Audition, Pro Tools, Reaper, or any DAW you prefer—as long as the finished mix is broadcast-ready.
If you have a portfolio demonstrating creative edits with ambient soundscapes and a crisp, professional finish, I’d love to hear it. Let me know your typical turnaround for a 30–40 minute episode and any questions you have about my workflow.
