Clean Volume Across Song Edits
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a finished mix that still feels rough at six edit points—1:20, 1:56, 2:03, 2:09, 3:09, and 3:42. At each of these boundaries the overall level either jumps forward or falls away, breaking the flow of the track. All I’m asking for is a clip fix so the volume stays consistent from start to finish.
The lead instrument sits right on top of most of those transitions, so please treat it with extra care. I’m not looking for creative EQ, compression, or any tonal changes; simply even out the level so the listener never notices the edits.
Deliverables
• A final stereo WAV (same sample/bit-rate as the file I provide) with seamless, consistent volume
• A short before/after reference or brief change log so I can hear what was done
• If you worked in a DAW such as Pro Tools, Logic, or Reaper, a bounced session file is appreciated but optional
Turnaround is flexible but I’d like to wrap this up quickly. If you have the ear and the tools to smooth these six points, I’m ready to send over the stems right away.
