I have a finished pop backing track and a cleanly-recorded acoustic-guitar performance sitting on separate stems. What I now need is a skilful set of ears to edit and mix both parts into one polished, radio-ready file.
Your task is strictly editing and mixing: tighten any timing discrepancies, sculpt the EQ so the guitar sits naturally above the arrangement, add tasteful compression and reverb where necessary, and ensure the overall loudness matches current pop standards without squashing the dynamics of the acoustic. Feel free to work in Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton Live or any DAW you prefer, as long as the end result is transparent and professional.
